主講人介紹：梅茗（Ming Mei），加拿大麥吉爾大學(xué)（McGill University）教授，Champlain學(xué)院教授。吉林省“長(zhǎng)白山學(xué)者”講座教授，東北師范大學(xué)“東師學(xué)者”講座教授。同時(shí)擔(dān)任《Applicable Analysis》《International Journal of Numerical Analysis and Modeling》《Advances in Mathematical Physics》等雜志的編委。 梅茗教授主要從事的研究領(lǐng)域?yàn)榉蔷€(xiàn)性偏微分方程的理論和數(shù)值分析，研究方向有解的漸近行為、穩(wěn)定性理論、物理模型的相變問(wèn)題、納維-斯托克斯方程、半導(dǎo)體流體動(dòng)力學(xué)方程、非線(xiàn)性波、KdV型方程、時(shí)滯反應(yīng)擴(kuò)散方程、種群動(dòng)力學(xué)等。梅教授在上述領(lǐng)域和方向取得了許多有重要學(xué)術(shù)價(jià)值和影響的研究成果，他先后主持多項(xiàng)加拿大自然科學(xué)基金并在《Archive for Rational Mechanics and Analysis》《Mathematical Models and Methods in Applied Sciences》《Communications in Partial Differential Equations》《SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis》《Journal of Differential Equations》等國(guó)際頂級(jí)學(xué)術(shù)期刊上發(fā)表論文100余篇。

內(nèi)容介紹：In this talk, we present our recent series of studies on time-delayed reaction-diffusion equations with degenerate diffusion. We classify the structure of all types of traveling waves such as smooth/sharp/oscillatory traveling waves. The global stability of non-critical traveling waves is also introduced.
