主講人介紹：李從明，上海交通大學(xué)講席教授，師從國(guó)際數(shù)學(xué)界分析學(xué)大師L. Nirenberg，在幾何分析、流體力學(xué)、非線(xiàn)性偏微分和積分方程（組）及其相關(guān)應(yīng)用領(lǐng)域做出了一系列一流的原創(chuàng)性工作。已發(fā)表SCI論文90余篇，包括國(guó)際頂尖期刊PNAS, Ann. of Math., Invent. Math., Duke Math. J., CPAM, Adv. Math., JDG等, 被引用累計(jì)超過(guò)5500余次，發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)專(zhuān)著2部。2017年當(dāng)選美國(guó)數(shù)學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)士，目前擔(dān)任《Discrete and Continuous Dynamics, Series A》、《Acta Mathematica Scientia》編委。

內(nèi)容介紹：We give a brief introduction on some methods for qualitative analysis of elliptic type nonlinear PDEs and some of our research works on related problems. It is mainly on maximum principles, Liouville type theorems and classification of solutions. We focus on the Hardy Littlewood-Sobolev type systems and curvatures related geometric equations. We also report some recent work on steady Euler equations when time permit.
