主講人介紹:庾建設(shè),教授,博士生導(dǎo)師,廣州大學(xué)原校長(zhǎng)、黨委書(shū)記,國(guó)家杰出基金獲得者,國(guó)家有突出貢獻(xiàn)的中青年專(zhuān)家,廣州大學(xué)應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)研究中心主任。庾建設(shè)教授長(zhǎng)期從事微分方程動(dòng)力系統(tǒng)、差分方程及生物數(shù)學(xué)模型的理論與應(yīng)用研究,先后主持國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金項(xiàng)目10余項(xiàng),其中重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目3項(xiàng),數(shù)學(xué)交叉研究平臺(tái)項(xiàng)目2項(xiàng);曾獲國(guó)家級(jí)教學(xué)成果一等獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng),省部級(jí)科技成果、教學(xué)成果一等獎(jiǎng)3項(xiàng);2020年獲得廣東省科學(xué)技術(shù)獎(jiǎng)自然科學(xué)獎(jiǎng)一等獎(jiǎng)。近十年來(lái),致力于應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)的理論研究及其在基因表達(dá)、蚊媒傳染疾病防控等方面的應(yīng)用,已在《Nature》、《PLoS Computational Biology》、《Journal of Differential Equations》、《SIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics》、《Journal of Mathematical Biology》、《Journal of Theoretical Biology》等重要數(shù)學(xué)、應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)國(guó)際刊物發(fā)表論文多篇。


內(nèi)容介紹:Cytoplasmic incompatibility (CI) caused by endosymbiotic bacteria Wolbachia has been an effective way to suppress and even eradicate wild vector mosquitoes. By assuming that CI is driven by impulsive and periodic releases of Wolbachia-infected males, we develop a time-switching ordinary differential equation model to characterize the impact of the release amount, the release period and the incomplete CI on the suppression efficiency. Sufficient conditions to guarantee the existence and uniqueness, or the existence of exactly two periodic solutions are obtained, together with their stability analyses. This is a joint work with my Ph D student Rong Yan and Professor Bo Zheng.
