主講人介紹:蔡勇勇,北京師范大學(xué)教授,本科和碩士就讀于北京大學(xué),2012年在新加坡國(guó)立大學(xué)獲得博士學(xué)位。他先后在威斯康辛大學(xué)麥迪遜分校、馬里蘭大學(xué)帕克分校和普渡大學(xué)從事博士后研究工作,從2016年至2019年在北京計(jì)算科學(xué)研究中心任特聘研究員。蔡勇勇博士的研究興趣主要是偏微分方程的數(shù)值方法及其在量子力學(xué)等領(lǐng)域中的應(yīng)用,在MCOM、JCP和SIAM系列等期刊上發(fā)表多篇論文,主持/參加多項(xiàng)國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金,多次受邀參加學(xué)術(shù)會(huì)議,并在SciCADE2019和ICOSAHOM2023上作大會(huì)報(bào)告。


內(nèi)容介紹:In this talk, we establish improved uniform error bounds for the time-splitting methods for the long-time dynamics of the nonlinear Schr?dinger equation (NLSE) with weak nonlinearity. By a new technique of regularity compensation oscillation (RCO) in which the high frequency modes are controlled by regularity and the low frequency modes are analyzed by phase cancellation, an improved uniform error bound is established. Numerical results are reported to validate our error estimates and to demonstrate that they are sharp.
