主講人介紹：周家足，西南大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)與統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)院教授，數(shù)學(xué)研究所所長(zhǎng)，湖北省楚天學(xué)者主講教授，香港求是杰出青年學(xué)者獎(jiǎng)，中國(guó)政府友誼獎(jiǎng)，重慶市國(guó)際科技合作獎(jiǎng)，重慶市友誼獎(jiǎng)，貴州省“黔中英杰”。論文發(fā)表在Trans. AMS、Adv. Math.、Adv. Appl. Math.、Sci. China Math.、China Ann. Math.等期刊上，主持國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金及教育部重點(diǎn)基金8 項(xiàng)。

內(nèi)容介紹：We begin with the isoperimetric problem that was known in Ancient Greece. Then we will introduce the isoperimetric inequalities for geometric measures that will directly link to recent advances and applications to mean curvature. Isoperimetric inequalities for mean curvatures will be introduced. The talk coves some joint works with N. Fang, X. Li, H. Wang, W. Xu, C. Zeng, Z. Zhang and B. Zhu.
