主講人介紹:Deping Ye(葉德平),2000年本科畢業(yè)于山東大學(xué),2000-2003年在浙江大學(xué)讀研,2009年博士畢業(yè)于美國(guó)Case Western Reserve University,現(xiàn)任職于加拿大Memorial University of Newfoundland,并主持加拿大國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金(NSERC)。于2017年獲得JMAA Ames獎(jiǎng)。長(zhǎng)期從事凸幾何分析,幾何和泛函不等式,隨機(jī)矩陣,量子信息理論,和統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)等領(lǐng)域的研究。已在國(guó)際著名雜志J. Funct. Anal.,Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations,Adv. Math., Comm. Pure Appl. Math., Math. Ann.,等發(fā)表論文近40篇。
內(nèi)容介紹:The covariogram function of a convex body naturally defines many central objects in convex geometry, such as the difference body and Petty projection body. By extending the covariogram function of a convex body to a higher order setting, we can define the higher order version of the difference body and Petty projection body. In this talk I will explain how to get this extension done. Moreover, I will talk about our new affine isoperimetric and affine Sobolev inequalities in the higher order setting.
